Samoa is definitely getting the better of the contact. Not from lack of heart by the PNG team. Just physical size imo.

That was a really enjoyable game of footy to watch. Minimal wrestle, lots of passion and agro, hard 1 on 1 hits, free flowing play.

Prefer that style of footy to some of the dross the nrl can dish up even if it isnt winning footy in the modern era.

Like the potential this Samoan team has and just love watching the Kumuls play!

Papua New Guinea v Samoa

Toa Samoa recorded a gritty 24-6 success against Papua New Guinea Kumuls on a brisk night at Leichhardt Oval.

The game didn't reach any great heights but was played in a fantastic spirit with both Samoa and Papua New Guinea combined for an entertaining display of rugby league, as the Samoans ran in four tries to one in a tight contest.
