- Moga retires (I hate to be that guy, but knowing what I know medically it seems likely - i hope I'm wrong)
- Connor Watson to initially kill it, but weaknesses exposed as the season goes on sparking discussion about the need to recruit a genuine fullback
- Ponga to transition seamlessly to 5/8
- James Gavet to be a fan-favourite
- Sione to have the season of his life starting on the bench before usurping Guerra for a starting spot in the backrow
- Bradman Best to debut mid-season and a star is born
