What game did you watch mate? Or any others this season? Have another shandy.
I watched the game where Jack was giving away soft kicks to the opposition and 20m 7 tackle restarts, like everyone else did.

I also watched those other games where Jack really enjoyed kicking out on the full a lot.

That was a really good game between two good sides
Think if Croker goes for the corner instead of cutting across the fullback we win

Very happy with that performance without Beej, Raps and JB

Yep. A little disappointed that we’ve fallen back to the pack a bit but only because of how high we were.

Still, even when we were up with the leaders I thought we were punching above our weight a little and a “best of the rest” type position was what we should probably aim for this season and I see no reason we can’t achieve that.

Big call, he still had to covert the try and we know how he does with pressure kicks.

So not the game last not where he forced 2 repeat sets or the one last week where he scores off a grubber?

Or the the ones that have him =1st for 40/20 among five eights (yeah, one but hey) or top 3 five eights for forced drop outs or #2 among five eights for kick metres. He's going pretty good.

Yep he had one game where he kicked a couple out early on in the season as he was adjusting to the position (god forbid!) but he's been great since then.

Backing Croker with a kick with the game on the line? He’d be a better chance of scoring the match winning try.. never mind.

He’s kicked goals exactly like that plenty of times in the past. Not sure you know what you’re talking about to be honest.

No doubt the only difference was cooler heads prevailing in the key moments. Walker iced his chance where Croker missed his. Both teams were missing key players yet there was no drop in intensity or effort - good signs for later in the year.

He's got a 50% chance of kicking it! Either he kicks it, or he doesnt!!

In all seriousness though,
He's an 80% kicker, even on the sideline, he's going to hit more than he misses. The odds would be overwhelming favoring us if he scores. But even if he misses, it's at least GP and we'll see but the game was over when he split it. Sucks but as yobbo said above, the difference was Souths made the most of their last minute chance and we didnt. Think that was a good game between two pretty evenly matched teams
