We will be without Bateman, Cotric, Wighton, Leilua, Hodgson, Papalli, Rapana and possibly Tapine.

I can't remember a time when we had such a massive portion of our salary cap on the sideline. It'll be a miracle if we get this done.

Without Napa I'm not holding my breath our forwards will have any impact. I think Canberra still get the job done here.

Hmmmm Bulldogs playing the same team their reserve grade put 50 on yesterday. They should be right.

The halfback, hooker & centre were pulled out of that reserve grade team on game day & didn't play... hence the 50 pts.

All 3 pulled due to Raiders FG injury crisis to make sure they will be fit to turn out for FG this weekend.

Cute story, but Mounties led 16-0 then conceded 52 points before scoring a consolation try at the end of the match.

Mounties are also competition leaders.

I think you failed a comprehension check along the way. I wasn't saying Mounties are awesome, just the the "Mounties"/Raiders the Bulldogs will play this week won't bear much resemblance to that Mounties team, as it was missing 3 key players.

But go ahead, hang your point on a 50 point thumping of Mounties. Doggies are a fine reserve grade team. Two fine reserve grade teams in fact.

I reckon it might be your comprehension in a bit of trouble. Your post suggested the only reason Mounties lost was because key players were withdrawn, which I reckon is a fairly silly statement given they shot out to a 16-point lead early.

I wasn't referencing the first grade match-up this week at all, and I wasn't hanging my point on anything.

But my post and the post I quoted to respond to both _were_ referencing the FG match up, which makes your reply a bit of a non sequitur.
