I'd say Gower will defend at 6 and there'll be a bit of rotation through the role in attack.

Not ideal losing an important spine player in the second minute. Why couldn't Smith be the one KTFO

Getting too excited like that last play will be the only way the Sharks will lose this.

They are carving them up coming out of their own end.

Losing your best player early in the game never ideal but having variety on the bench would at least help.

I agree but we don't really have any. Especially with Dylan Brown out

I'd have Salmon there personally but the coach wants him to show more as a six, so he's playing halves in NSW Cup.

Good depth in the forwards but weak in the halves with Norman being shipped off and Brown injured. Even Salmon is more of an edge player.

All those head knocks have killed whatever brain cells Tepai had. What a dumb penalty

Sharks are a genuine dark horse for the comp. They just need their best players back and in form by finals.

Having Moylan, Johnson and Graham miss the first half of the season could be a blessing in disguise. They’ll be a lot fresher then the rest of the comp come finals time and missing them has allowed them to sneak along completely unnoticed. Being Gallens last year expect there to be plenty of motivation to send him out a winner.

Agree

The biggest complaint about the Sharks has been their ageing roster. But now, they have good talent filtering through to compliment their experience. Xerri is a rep if ever I have seen one and Nikora is a beast.
