Feels like the refs put the whistle away a bit from the Raiders' excessive milking. Wish they'd get on with things a bit more and not put on a play every tackle. Let the refs make the judgement as to whether the defender is taking too long.

The 10 was atrocious for 60 mins in one direction though.

Im not a huge fan of how much we milk in particular in the attacking 20m. We are also plenty grubby.

It was the 10 that was making me fume lol

Poor Sia might have played one season too many. He was pretty bad tonight

Tonight proves that we're still prone to other teams getting under our skin. Sharks threw us off our game from 25 minutes onwards where some composure would have shut the gate, better teams would have.

Its a given that Sia drops the ball at least once after coming on, usually in his first minute. Even the sticky spray couldn't help him tonight.

Reckon Klein got that right tbh, and I rarely say that.

The hit was absolutely fine, the stuff on the ground was bitchy but he didn't get him in the head or anything. Third man in inciting the handbags was the first penalty offence.

The confusion is coming from that fact that majority of the year the team that starts the ruckus receives the penalty, even if the ref had already called play on. Right call tonite hopefully this means we are back to the refs reffing the game and not the players running the show

The sharks gave away 5 penalties in first 20, then apparently they had perfect discipline for the next 40 until the count had evened up :joy:

Not to mention letting them leave early and defend offside all game.

Scoreline flatters the sharks. Refs dragged them back into it.

There were no Burgii in tonight’s game, so the ruckus was (correctly) penalised.

Some of that refereeing from Gashley Klown, as per normal, was diabolical. For one, do they even call offsides anymore? For two, Cronulla were laying in the ruck so long they even had time to apply the lube and unwrap the Trojan - being Cronulla though whilst they had the time they still went raw. And three, wtf were they expecting when Fatfita drops down like he’s the Ultimate Warrior on a prone opponent? It was cheap and he got called on it. What about Gallen slapping Bateman in the face and somehow getting the penalty ffs?
