Bizarre game in a way.

You lot carved us up around the ruck for 35 mins. Then we got a roll on and we are good downhill skiers. Then we smashed you through the middle for about 30 mins or so.

How do you support either of these clubs lol
Raiders use this same script every f**king week. Get out to a good lead and then give it up. It's so predictable.

I don't want to offer up too many excuses because we were genuinely moronic but the humidity didn't help for a team based in Canberra and that has a ton of English imports. We struggle to hold leads at the best of time throw the extra fatigue in to the mix and its a disaster

Also I hate to throw blame at genius Stick but as soon as Papalii and Tapine were off the field the Eels just started wrecking us. He needs to sort out his pack rotation because we have really struggled in the periods when the bench forwards are on recently. It happened against Cronulla

f**k Vossy, most coaches have a good record against Arthur.
Fun fact: If Parra beat the Warriors next month at Bankwest, that will be less than half the coaches in the NRL with a winning record against him. Even if Arthur loses both games in between.

We all thought that about Mitchell Pearce.
Origin is as much about temperament as ability, as Latrell is finding out atm.
Pearce spent his entire Origin career playing against the best Queensland team in history. If he was fit now he'd be the first half picked. He's a lot better than Cleary. Defends better than Maloney too.

That’s something I never would have thought was possible. I suppose that’s why there is vigorous debate in your forum about whether he’s a keeper or not.

That says more about the standard of the comp and the coaching ranks to be honest.

Agreed on the coaching ranks. I’ve posted before that the quality of coaches is really poor when serial poor performers keep getting a coaching gig.
The Broncos underachieved for Bennett and Seibold, while Souths have played well under both coaches. It's pretty clear coaching isn't a magic bullet.

Pearce did the same stuff for the Roosters.
Watch the last 20 minutes of the 2013 GF, and you will see SBW playing 5/8th and Maloney halfback, while Pearce took a back seat.

Sia hasn't been providing the oomph he used to. I was hoping the break might have freshened him up.

Sutton gets a bit lost as a benchy too. Not his go.

Hors had a bit of a stinker. Needs to tighten up his game. Young bloke looking lazy & ill disciplined off the bench after a break isn't looking like he wants FG bad enough.

Guler & Hunt or Murchie might be back in the frame. Although it sounded like Ricky was going to give them one more go to fix it. Hunt had a pretty big game for Mounties last start, line break, 6 tackle busts, 4 offloads.
