Well, that sums up our season.

So close, yet so far.

We do so much right. Scored more tries again.

We have terrible luck this year with injuries. Johnson and Moylan already out for this game, lose Dugan for the 2nd half and Graham for extra time. Key personnel and yet we still came so close.

But at the same time, we do so much wrong. Kick chase at crucial times not good enough. Canberra dominated the extra time. Goal kicking is a disaster.

I can only hope the rookies all learn through this and become better for having nearly been good enough.

It’s not bad luck that injury prone players get injured. It’s bad recruitment

Raiders had too much composure.

Hodgson is a large part of that this year, and why they struggled in recent years to win tight ones when he was out.

Sharks need someone to tack control of big moments. Haven't had that since Maloney left, and need to find it again to genuinely threaten in future years with the promising rookies.

Raiders are good this year because we are so insanely competitive and fit, but we just play dumb. Two weeks out from finals and it was close to our dumbest game of the season. Not that impressed with that win...
