If you check out kayo sports at 6.29 2nd half remaning young wally/Lacklan has a f/g attempt. it misses and hits a cowboy player apox 6 meters out from his own line and bounces forward to Toomga? (who is 16 meters) out from the cowboys line. The ref gave a penalty to the cowboys for 'offside' but it wasn't, it should have been play on. Toomga? was 10 outside/away from the ball when Lewis took the kick which rebounded on/off a cowboy. HOW many times are going to see REFS f**k up!

Blame your useless halfback for missing a field goal from point blank range that makes Ben Hunt's attempts look positively brilliant!

He was in front anyway, Lewis has to put him back onside as the Cowboys player didn't play at the ball. It was offside, penalty Cowboys.

MATCH REPORT - Cowboys 15 Bulldogs 8:

Bulldogs season officially over as Cowboys grind way to victory
Andrew Jackson | August 29 2019 9:49PM

North Queensland Cowboys v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

The North Queensland Cowboys have farewelled 1300Smiles Stadium in style with a hard-fought 15-8 win over the Canterbury Bulldogs on Thursday night.

While the Bulldogs' season was technically still alive heading into the match, the unlikely combination of results that had to go their way meant that in a competition sense this clash had little meaning.

But a combination of circumstances meant that there was still just as much riding on the result.
