I've posted my thoughts earlier but to add to your mention of the refs.. The pocket referee ran straight past McDonald and Asiata - Gavin Badger. And didn't do a thing.

Heard in commentary that there had been a rule changed because "referees arent doctors"..

Two guys lying on the ground after a collision, one holding an arm and grimacing while the others lower leg is facing the wrong way...(possibly shouting in pain also but no audio to ell). None are getting up to follow the play.... Yet Gavin Badger jogs on by and doesn't do a thing..

That was a disgraceful effort from all the officials. How that play where Nene has his ankle obliterated & wasn’t stopped is beyond me. Surely common sense prevails in that situation. Forward passes, Grub Smith not getting penalised & binned in the dying moments.. I give up.
