Ahead of kick off, we will have a giant flag unveiling to welcome the Blue & Gold Army home, carried by Eels Members on the field.

An official ceremony will begin with a Welcome to Country, National Anthem, band entertainment, Eels Hall of Famers on the field, the raising of the Blue & Gold Army flag and a representation from each Parramatta Eels Junior League Club ahead of kick off.

Wearing a cheap fake moustache
The mental image I just got is of him walking up to the turnstile, fake moustache and all, and saying "Hello, I'm Mr Egirac"
@ Natheel . . . . Mate, if you want to christen your new home, go have relations with your Mrs on the kitchen floor.
You wanna do it in style ? Do it wearing a tie.

Anyone know if they are planning any pregame stuff, given it's the first game there.

I can’t locate any more than this on the parra and tigers sites.

12:40pm — Gates Open at Bankwest Stadium

1:30pm — Canterbury Cup, Wentworthville Magpies vs. Western Suburbs

4:00pm — NRL, Parramatta Eels vs. Wests Tigers

So the venue is being christened by a NSW Cup match? Surely this NRL game would be stand alone to open the venue

Eh, we never beat Canberra and that held true last week. We also often struggle on big occasions...
