The commentators were spot on at the end there re. the Broncos culture. For too long there’s been this sense of entitlement and the people with the power to determine the clubs fortunes have assumed that more glory is just around the corner because they’re the Broncos.

They need to change their talent scouting to be on the level of the Roosters and Storm, need to bring in a coach like Bellamy or Gus in his heydey who enforces a hard-work culture in the side, make sure no player thinks they’re irreplaceable in that side. If they have to struggle for 2 seasons to build that sort of club from the ground up, they could again be the #1 side in Qld with a bullet.

But I won’t lose a wink of sleep if they become Qld’s version of Parra or Souths before Rusty/ PHaC...

Expected result really, Souths will be right in the firing line end of season unless injuries de-rail their season, we've got a young side, we gave away silly penalties all night when we had them pinned down and they were too good and made us pay.
