Super league is of a very poor standard this year.

Not surprising, third the clubs are fighting to survive and signing whatever numpty they can find available and the other half are losing their best players to nrl and replacing them wth reserve grade fringe nrl players. Then you have four clubs who are spending a lot more than anyone else signing all the decent players up.

One thing SL is much faster. Watching nrl today the ruck is like in super slo mo after a month in England watching SL.

The play the ball needs addressing in England! Australian rugby league have got it right with maintaining playing the ball with the foot. England have nowhere near as much respect and discipline of such a fundamental and original rule.

I don't like how they roll the ball between their lags...looks like tunnel ball

Exactly. It’s what defines RL from union.

Yes the clearance of the ruck via the play the ball with the foot gives legitimacy to rugby league football in so many ways. The union dudes have been suppressing this great rule (that has cleared the ugly ruck/maul) for decades in their devious and unsportsmanlike way. Meaning rugby league is not given a go in all sorts of places which ultimately inhibits it's chances to grow. A far more inclusive and faster code being limited by the powers that be. (controlled by influential union people with their talons in places of infuence- elite private schools etc)

That is all from the “dreaded” referee crackdown last year that everybody was whinging about. The Aussie play the ball used to be just as bad.

In the relegation battle:
Leeds lost to St's
Rovers v Wakey shaping up to another big one
Expect London and Hudds to lose (though dragons have being playing terribly of late so might be an upset?)

Next week London v Leeds is the big one with Rovers, Wakey and Hudds all expected to lose

Rovers v wakey is like a relegation playoff match in that whoever wins is safe. Broncos can definitely beat the dragons in France and I wouldn’t be shocked to see it. Don’t the dragons have a few out through injuries and suspensions?

Dragons have 3 out from the wolves battle and we’re dismal against Leeds. London have a chance if dragons perform like that again.

Wins for both London and Salford this afternoon.

London beat Catalan 17-4 in France and remain bottom of the table but pull level with hull Kr, Huddersfield and Wakefield on 18 points.

Salford beat hull fc at hull 44-22 and move into 5th place in the league.

I want my morning back after watching the dragons and Broncos. I seriously think the dragons need to be investigated for match fixing.
