Surely we're not blaming Seibold for their woes?
Who decided to get rid of 4 experienced first graders this season??

One of them an Aussie rep and Two Kiwi reps. That same squad won 16 games last year, with the emergence of Haas and another year for those young forwards they should of been pushing for the top 4 at worst. This bloke is already shifting blame and telling the club and fans they need a rebuild. Hilarious, he’s there for 5 more years.

Probably the same merkins who decided to get rid of Bennett.

I'd say the rebuild was decided before Seibold even arrived at the club.

I thought that the Broncos had a system that was not coach centric. That their roster was constantly evolving and the coach of the day could be dropped in and maintain success without having to build a team that suits him ?

Indeed this is the system that (as I understand it) we have adopted.

The Broncos in my opinion have a great roster if not the best roster bar one area. The halves. They have none. If they had one high quality half that can playmake very well and consistently all their troubles would evaporate and they would be title contenders.

For the life of me I don't know why Seibold didn't move heaven and earth to snatch a quality half prior to the start of the season. Someone like Townsend, when he had the chance with Cronulla's cap issues, would have been perfect and I think I mentioned this at the time.

He would now have the option of a spine like Milf(fullback) Nikorima(5/8TH) and Townsend(halfback). Instead he has traded Nikorima and moved Boyd to 5/8th who isn't an arseholes half to partner a rookie in the halves who needs guidance himself not have someone next to him that needs more teaching then he does.

What a cluster f**k and people wonder why the Broncos are atrocious? They need a high quality half. Period. Even Bennett stuffed up on this one. He should of brought in Moses and he would have had a winning team. How he thought bringing a player like Bird on big coin was a good thing over the priority of a good to great half is beyond me.

Both coaches have stuffed up massively.

Pretty much! Thats the downfall of signing a new coach, means a "roster rebuild " to suit the style of play that particular coach wants. Can take a few years sometimes for the coach to build the team he wants. Usually by then the coach is on the way outer. Just look at parra for the last 9 years and 4 coaches later...

Well you've missed the point. The rebuild is decided before bringing in a new coach.

And a new coach doesn't necessarily mean the team is rebuilding either. Souths aren't rebuilding under Bennett. Manly aren't rebuilding. Bennett and Hasler are two coaches who seem to only go to clubs ready for success, and leave when it's time to rebuild.

I agree with what you are saying, maybe rebuild is the wrong word. Roster overhauls are very common with new coaches which can set a team back a few years. Was more thinking the tigers/panthers this year under new coaches. They were going in one direction the last few years and now going another under a new regime. Souths are premiership ready contenders ,bennett is just there to add the polish needed.

In fairness, a new coach at Parra has invariably meant rebuild because the previous build was started on a foundation of plop.

Has that been every past Parra coaches fault? They've certainly not helped, but the fact that it has happened several times makes me believe that our issues are much bigger than any one coach that we have had (or have).
