Easier said than done. As soon as one player gets it that whole team is out. The only reason we are going on is that the tv deal is worth $25m a week.

They mentioned the AFL has cut their season to 17 rounds, and NRL cant afford to do that

If one player tests positive to Coronavirus, they then would have to suspend the season. Because of their financial plight, would they shut down for 2 weeks only, then go again?

I think it was Hooper who asked V'landys that back in 2012 when the NRL commision was formed they were gonna put 50M in the kitty every year, which obviously hasn't happened. Where TF did the money go??? Vlandys couldn't or didn't want to comment on that as he wasn't around, but assures under his reign that is what they will be doing (if the game gets through this season of course)

The AFL will triumph massively after all of this, while all other sports will take a massive and maybe even near fatal hit.
