Rabs is going to embarrass himself he calls the grand final. He was late on some big plays in that game.
When Yeo split the defence he was very late to call it then was "ummm uhhhh" trying to think of Dylan Edwards name, absolutely embarrassing considering it was such a huge play in the game.

Edwards was 5m out with nobody in front by the time Rabs caught on.

It’s both incredibly frustrating and sad. He’s been awful for a few years now. Serviceable for Sunday arvo footy but he shouldn’t be the main man for the GF

Maybe I'm being too optimistic here, but that might be Penrith's crap game out of the way. Surely they play better next weekend?

The Storm have a more experienced squad with more finals experience than the Panthers and they looked the more polished outfit last night. Yet they barely needed to break a sweat all match. Week 1 of the finals against Parra they had an early scare until the Eels became paper thin up the middle of the ruck and Melbourne could assert themselves. While they've played to the professional standard you'd expect of them, they didn't have to work too hard for either result. They beat Parra through persistence and they beat Canberra simply because they turned up to play.

Both Panthers finals matches have been won by a collective of 5 points. They've got more recent experience of genuine pressure situations to their gain. I'm wondering if there was that pressure to have such a great season and then fall short of the game that could put the exclamation mark on their season? Now it's out of the way they can face down the Storm and either come up with diamonds (at the expense of Barb Smith's husband) or go down in a blaze of glory- similar to the 2003 Panthers
