Asquith vs Wyong will be a cracker of a game
It would have been but most Ron Massey Cup teams don't have their best players until Rd 1 of their competition proper as they are all training with and trialling with their feeder Canterbury Cup teams. I know Asquith has 13 players up at Norths who wont be seen until rd1. It is more a Sydney Shield trial then Ron Massey Cup which is a shame .

Yeah it is a shame but gives an opportunity for the shield players to shine and provide competition for the Ron Massey Cup boys

Do the NSWRL publish this draw? Would be awesome to get along to one of these games. Mighty keen to go and watch Thirlmere vs Cabramatta

Maybe they should issue the old Maher Cup to the winners

The CRL awards the Claytons Cup to the best performed team in CRL comps. Sydney Shield side, East Campbelltown won it in 2012 when they went through the season undefeated in Group 6.
