In the fair dinkum department, despite the infamous six again I actually like Cummins as a ref, but he’s never been able to deal with games that have high levels of aggression. He literally has no idea how to handle it.

I still remember years ago, I think it might have even been these two teams, the original Daine Laurie were really giving it to each other in some good, hard, aggressive hits and Cummins freaked out and started penalising heavy tackles.

He’s a good ref for most games, but totally wrong for this one.
