Chad’s going to get a nice little early mark to his off season after that hit.
Dunno, but something something Penrith Panthers
I thought he was committed to the "tackle" when the whistle was blown to stop play.I might be drunk as balls...but I can't believe anyone is complaining about the send off?
Late, a bit high, blatant shoulder charge and he leapt into it. During play probs could get away with ten in the bin but the cat decided to do it with play stopped and deserved to go absolutely

Worthy of 10 in the bin and will probably cop a week or two on the sidelines, but I didn't think it was send off worthy.
It was no worse than the one on Fisher-Harris which was called a grade 1.Considering the 2 week suspensions being handed out for minor/accidental crusher tackles you would think Wade Graham will miss quite a few weeks for that lifting tackle.
The grading for Townsend will be interesting. Considering he left the ground and it was after the whistle, a strong argument can be made for it being a reckless tackle.

Exactly. Cummins has his hands in the air calling a halt to play for a long time. Late, high, shoulder charge, reckless. Anyone defending this attempt at tacking is a goose. He probably was committed to an extent but he also didn't need to leap into a shoulder charge. The whistle went quite comfortably before he left the ground with a flying shoulder I thought.
Congrats on an entertaining win. Enjoy the moment. Looking at the rest of the draw, it seems that with an ounce of luck, Newcy could just sneak in the top 4.We’ll celebrate in our own forum and won’t give a sh*t what opposition fans think. I suggest you guys do the same and enjoy your time in the sun. This game proves the good times don’t last forever.
The trouble with this is that he was two metres offside. If he'd been back the 10, he would have had time to pull out.I thought he was committed to the "tackle" when the whistle was blown to stop play.
