It occurred to me that in Manly's long and distinguished history, the club has had some awful seasons (2020 as a case in point) and yet they've never finished dead last. There is another team up north who have also managed to avoid this fate, albeit on a shorter timeline.

I hope Des has brought this up to the team in the dressing room, and they realise that they can do their bit to make that record of avoiding the spoon even more distinguished if they just let the Dogs win tonight...
