Hi ken,
Hiya artie
Who are we playing?
The tigers!

I’m A parra girl
In Brad Arthur’s world
His salary is fantastic
But his brain Is made of plastic...

He can brush his hair
And he likes to stare
Matts Is an abomination
Since packer pleased the nation

come on artie
Let’s go party
Ah ah ah ah!

They can pass, they can run
Get the smugs on the run
I see Gutho and Fergo In origin

Nathan Brown is a clown
He’s a diver goes down
He’s a puss and wuss
A big nightgown

come on artie
Let’s go party
Ah ah ah ah!

This is very interesting now in that what real motivation is there for parra to win?

I feel confident storm is the last team they want to play. Of course if raiders reserve side win then their choices are 3rd or 5th.

Val, that's a whole mess of counting and factoring in that you are expecting from Parramatta players.
They'd be taking off their shoes AND baseball caps for that lot of figuring out.

This whole idea that everyone wants to avoid the storm is garbage.

Sure, they're a strong side, extremely well drilled and consistent.

That's their biggest weakness. They have no ability to lift a gear or two in the finals, because they're almost always in top gear.

It's also having to travel interstate in week 1 which appears to be factored into this argument.

You are correct that Melbourne don’t lift a gear, however if you are to beat them, generally you have to bust your balls. They rarely have that off day where the opposition is not great yet still beat them. They are daunting in finals due to their big game experience and the fact your side has to be perfect for stretches of time to get over them. That coupled with the recovery from the effort required to back up next week and do it again is the reason most sides prefer to take them on in a GF....one big game, one big effort.

Exactly. They're not unbeatable. Despite their 15 years of dominance, they only have two Premierships because other teams lift a gear to knock them off.

Once Bellamy and co leave, that will probably do it for the storm.

It’s been a fun time for people who have made money out of it and ex pat fans, but for the rest of us they are just wasting good players who could be at other clubs.

Following them probably a genuine cure for folk with excessive sex drives, except for the odd free will shown by my favourite Non tiger player El Munster. Full bar effort from A J Brimson last night, he’s closing fast.

Yeah they win games, but so does running the ball over the side line in the last play to secure the points.

If the Raiders win, plenty. They were very stiff not to roll the Storm in 2017 in the first week, and while they might get over the Sharks , they'd then have the Storm or Panthers in sudden death. If Raiders lose, they'll have exactly the same incentive the Roosters had last night. They'll know where they stand at kickoff.

Wouldn't the Raiders have to win by over a 100 to have a chance for 3rd spot with their for and against ? so really its 4th or 5th for them.
