I wonder if it'd been against a side like Easts or Parra, whether the Knights would've cruised the final 20 minutes like they did. Because they didn't just put their cue in the rack- they lit up a cigar and poured a pint to go along with it. They already knew the Broncos weren't coming back. Had Brisbane lifted, I get the impression Newcastle would've switched back 'on' and stacked up more points than the 14 in the second half.

Right now Pearcey is saying AOB pointed to their lack of discipline at h/t and you could see the difference. Nothing flash- complete the sets, clinical. Meanwhile it was another limp and terribly-disciplined Broncos performance. I agree with somebody who said the other week that the decline of Milford since 2014 should be a criminal offence. The glimmer of hope is that until they face the Storm, the Broncos are playing GC, Canterbury, the Warriors and Wests- all winnable games if they turn up and give a shit.

I reckon now is the perfect opportunity to get rid of the Donkeys, add two BRL teams in Brissie and one from Perth to make the game national. Donkeys haven't won shit since 2006 and are becoming an embarrassment to the city. Three new teams at once will make it feel like 1995, but without Super League.
