Tough day at the office obviously.
Were were always going to find it tough with all the outs but gee they didn't give themselves a chance with the continuous errors. Unfortunately after the first 5 minutes, Butcher, Sitilli, Liu and Aubusson folded to the pressure as a unit and the Storm pack were to much for SST to carry the team. I think the game plays out very differently with our full pack.
Jack Friend has become a complete liability. Every single week he throws at least one forward pass and a couple of other dud passes and it just stops all momentum. Not saying we win last night if he doesn't throw those passes but it gives us some chance to build pressure. It is one thing for Sitilli and Butcher to capitulate but we need better from our leader.
The elephant int he room is the injury toll which is horrendous. Good news today that Keary is cleared of serious injury and will only miss 2-3 weeks and I am hearing Lam is only a couple of weeks too. Aubo may be back for finals.
Robbos said int he presser he doesn't expect anyone back but int he same breath said that if one or two come back he will be happy. I am expecting JWH back and Toops, B-Moz and Crighton must all be close.
It will take an extraordinary effort to win the comp from here but we have to keep going, No one is going to feel sorry for them. The draw gives us some relief for the next two weeks with Wests and Broncos. If we can grind wins there then we give ourselves a chance to finish top 4 but our last 4 games are all against teams 5-8 at the moment.
Positives from the game, even though they did it to themselves, I though the goal line defence was admirable all things considered and they never gave up in the 2nd half as well. I though Ikuvalu was sensational, he has really earned the starting winger spot when B-Moz gives it away. I also thought the young debutant was good under the most extreme pressure and glad he bagged a try.

What do we do int he halves the next 2 weeks? Flanagan has to come in. Do we go with Hutchison at 5/8 or something different. Manu looked good there last night...
