Solid performance, a win with only the one injury to Iku which isn't the worse case as toops is due back.

JWH and B-Moz made a stark difference to the team. I thought we controlled the game all night with the execption of the 15 minutes after Iku went off. That forced J-Moz to the right and sitilli in centres who unfortunately has no idea there defensively. They maintained composure though and iced the game when possession turned again.

I thought flano was good. He has to keep his spot IMO. There is just not that big a gap between him and Lam and his goal kicking is crucial.

I wouldn't rush to bring anyone back next week except maybe tupou as that side last night should account for the broncos.

3 SST
2 JWH
1 Hutchison - should be teddy but Hutchison ran down the intercept and he is unlikely to ever get a point again.

My initial reaction probably would be:

1. BMoz/JMoz
2. Teddy
3. JWH

I can refine later, but SST, Hutch and Flanno receive special mention. They were solid last night, and that gives me some hope and encouragement that we might just be able to get though this lean period before our serious troops start returning for the finals.

Would you get Lam back in as Jake’s back-up? Went pretty well for the couple of weeks we tried it, I thought. Plus he’s there if one of our halves break down during play which is a possibility given the season we’ve had so far.

Definitely Lam as the 14, Jake just can't go 80 any more.

Crighton will have to be the new Aubo in that he is the 2nd rower who moves to centre in case of injury in the back line. He is pretty solid in defence there.
