Cool story, but a range of settings were announced to change - masks no longer mandatory except in Uber/PT and Hospital/Aged Care settings (were previously mandatory in some retail environments and the like); density limits loosened in entertainment and dining venues; visitors to home and outdoor public gatherings increased. Tell yourself it's some big anti-AFL thing if you want, but it's more than likely a result that we're around 28 days now since the last locally acquired case and that on Sunday or Monday the last active case was discharged.

Exactly this. No reason any venue in any Australian state should be less. Good argument to be made for 100% in the coming months in both NSW and VIC.

Whenever a game is sold out like this in reg season it usually ends up 1-1.5k under capacity. I'd say 22.5-23k will be where it lands if the weather is ok
