Agree.
Low scores aren't indicative of a tight contest, in this case, the game is a slow bore fest devoid of any quality football. Both teams have been suffocated and we are seeing hit up after hit up.

Penrith v storm = great close low scoring game

Penrith vs dogs = PVLs hairline
Agreed 100% it’s rubbish ... not a tight contest by any stretch ... not being reffed as last week or week before either

‘this is always the prob with NRL ... rules are changed or interpreted differently so often

No he's not

Of course he is. He was a pretty good player for us. A few brain explosions but still NRL quality. He's gone miles backwards at the Dogs, like pretty much everyone else who's gone there the last few years.

I don't mind what interpretation the NRL wants to use but there has to be some consistency, a few weeks back at magic round if a defender even looked at the attacker the wrong way it was a set restart, this game you have tackles holding down, going back through the ruck, practicing their greco Roman wrestling techniques and it's all sweet
This game is being played with reffing from 5 years ago. Hetherington not binned for the second highshot in consecutive tackles goes against the crackdown. Called out for a nothing warning. Radley must have loved thst.

The wrestling on the ground for no set restarts except for a tackle 1 restart each way basically ignores trying to speed the game up. An eternity stoppage when Panthers on Bulldogs like for Deitz to slowly make his way off.

This game is just terrible. I looks like a wooden spoon battle. Absolutely no skill on display today.
