The game means almost nothing, the whole origin period in fact means sweet f**k all. We could lose every game and we'll still finish top 2

Not true. It is a true test of our much heralded depth. Can the debutantes step up.

It is not about the two points it is a true test for our depth.

I can except a loss, no issue, but the game and performance is very important in the overall context of our season.

Oh I'm pumped to watch the young guys but the results will have no bearing on our year

Tigers should surely make a game of this, but it absolutely reeks of one they would go onto with complacency out the ass.

Baby Pennies by 10.

Wests have won 4 games this year, they've beaten the same 2 teams, twice.

Penrith should be winning here.

I like this. It’s fairly funny reading mostPanthers fans comments about this week. You are still $1.45 favourites FFS

The Storm had their entire spine and a stack of others yet spanked the Raiders with little trouble.

I expect the Panthers to play a fairly simplistic game plan, all about minimizing errors and field position. They will obviously be fairly disjointed in attack. Rain is forecast Friday which will help their cause.

Zero excuses for Wests. Win or lose I don’t expect us to make any sort of run for the 8, never the less we won’t get a better opportunity to beat a genuine contender.

As for Panthers fans saying it will be embarrassing for us to lose this? Please, we embarrass ourselves countless times every year, this would be mid level at worst
Last season the Panthers were playing well, but still had annoying errors in their game. It was frustrating. This season we have turned it around and are basically a mistake free side. We simply don't have the unforced errors as much as we had. And this has been the difference.

What has happened to Origin rounds this year. It used to be a handicap round when top teams would drop a game. Panthers and Storm have solid squads despite missing origin stars and both heavy favourites.

Way too much class in this Tigers outfit. Laurie, Doueihi, Tamou. Firepower all across the park. Penrith are in for a tough night.

I hope you are right but I can see a loss coming up for us. It's a must win and we typically fail. I hope I'm wrong.

Obviously I hope the Tigers win, but that side Penrith have turned out is still pretty impressive given they are ravaged by Origin and could possibly lose a couple extras to injury and suspension.

They've lost some class in their spine, but the fullback and outside backs are all still relatively intact.

Panthers will be up for it, I just want the Tigers to win. I don't care how it comes at the moment, even if it is an understrength Penrith side, they have to just keep winning to stay in touch with the 8.

But since I will be attending, it is very likely Tigers get dicked by 40.

If you reach the finals relatively unscathed injury wise, yes this game means nothing, but if they romp it home I would be very happy if I were a Panthers fan to know that a second string spine is capable of still putting a first grade team to the sword.

Leichhardt Oval sold out. The last 5 times we’ve had over 16k at the ground we’ve lost

I hate this team so much

As far as I am aware it's nobody's milestone match nor are they paying tribute to a late legend... so surely that improves the Tigers chances?
