The gulf between Panthers, Storm, and to a lesser extent Bunnies and Sea-Eagles, and the rest of the comp is horrendous and detrimental to the game. I don't reckon coaches jobs should be called in to question for results v the Storm, Eagles etc. If Tigers get towelled up by Titans or Raiders then yeah, Madge has something to worry about

There is a huge gap between Souths, Eels, Roosters and Manly and the rest

The teams on the wrong side of the gulf only need to study the player development practices of the sides on the right side of it, and emulate. If it gave instant results, everyone would do it, but it takes many years and you have to be lucky. The Tigers have no options though, they can't buy enough top line players at any price to even get out of the bottom 4, and the general malaise around the place infects everyone who sets foot in the joint.
