I know the feels

I had a shadowless 1st ed charizard from my preteen collection. It was mint but ungraded, sold it when I was 15 for $400 and thought I was ballin. Ironically used the cash to shout my mates origin tickets.

Now they are going for $350k graded 10. I wouldn't be surprised if my old pokemon card collection would have been worth half a mill. What a mess.

That's more f**ked than mine. I started playing around Fallen Empire/Ice Age times so I didn't get too much of the really expensive sets except a few from Legends and Antiquities. That deck did have two Mana Drain which my mum almost killed me for when she found out I paid $100 for two of them in 1996.

Im sick of spending money, sold my entire collection except for a few decks I won’t ever change, and new sets are out almost monthly. I only play EDH so starting to get whole decks made for 110rmb. Love my proxy guy.

Whole thing's gone nuts.

Love that plenty of bricks and mortar stores in the States have stopped physically selling MTG and Pokemon cards because fights kept breaking out whenever new stock came in. Even the humble Warhamsters is having similar problems.
