Cowboys, on the back of multiple set restarts just ran thru the Roosters like they were invisible.

It's been a blight on the game all season.

When a player is 1m out from their own line on tackle 1, why wouldn't you risk being offside? The penalty is a single tackle and the player likely makes no ground anyways.

Some common sense needs to come in to this and the refs need to blow a penalty when it is obvious that is the better outcome for the team with the ball.

It’s really a dumb rule , teams give them away all the time 1/2 tackle as it’s no big deal

You'd be mad not to concede those ones. Needs to be punished more instead of just giving up a couple of tackles to set your defensive line.

Surely Taukieaho is a better kicker than Walker ?

He is but his form has been really down since his last injury and even when he plays he isn't always on the field for the full game.
Adam Keighran is the best goal kicker we have but he isn't a regular in the side.

Our goal kicking stocks are poor at the moment to say the least.

SST is ok, has kicked some crackers but missed some shockers as well.

I would prefer walker to miss than SST just for the experience and practice. Walker is the long term solution unless Keary is going to give it a go.
