Croker has been a decent player for us. During his best years he was an above average nrl centre (around 2016)

But he just doesn't have the physical ability for vlandys ball. It's very obvious

There's always been a vocal part of the fanbase that have hated him. Even years where he was good. I don't think anyone rates him now. Its sad watching him play so shite. Games well and truly passed him.

Croker will break all sorts of point scoring records on the basis that Canberra have always had no problem scoring (except for today), he started young in first grade and never really lost his spot.

He's the beneficiary of having a popular surname in that region, no doubt. On footballing ability, he probably isn't someone you'd expect to break the records that he will.

Thanks for the honest responses. I've always thought he was above average at best but always a defensive liability. I understand he's had some recent injury issues but he's looked really poor from what I've seen this year.

Croker has had a few eras. In his early career if he was up against someone bigger than him it was a slaughter. An ancient Adam McDougall absolutely wrecked him once

But there was a period he could mostly hold his own.

Crokers problem then and now is that he's not hugely gifted physically. Pvls rule changes have hurt him but he's also aging out anyway

Basically a young croker would struggle to crack nrl now
