Penrith fans have been exactly where you are many times, some not so long ago. Hook was a part of a long process of getting us beyond them; hopefully he can also be a part of moving the Dragons forward.

I could be wrong, Dragons fans may disagree, I haven’t seen a lack of effort from them it’s just not happening for whatever reason. I like Anthony Griffin, I think he may be worth persevering with beyond 2022 but a few of his team selections are a little baffling perhaps. Nor least selecting Jack Bird in front of Matt Dufty at fullback. Matt has his issues but can score or create tries which perhaps Jack Bird isn’t likely to achieve. Still a mathematical chance of making the eight and yet leaves out a player who may actually provide X factor and deliver points. I’m sure hook knows better than me but I sorta kinda don’t get it.

As it stands I’ll be happy with the two points, I don’t think it will be a blow out, I think it will be a closely fought contest.
