One for the rules experts here.

A few minutes back, Jayden Campbell played the ball near his own line with no dummy half. Peachey, who was in front of the play the ball when it was played, dives in and passes the ball.

Shouldn’t this be a penalty to the Warriors? By law, by being in front of the play the ball, Peachey is offside and can take no part in the play until the next play the ball. So, penalty Warriors would be the correct call under my understanding of the law.

Or have I got it wrong?

Think it's ok because he got behind the point of the PTB, like in SOO if Murray at some point got behind the ptb it would have been fine?

We're NRL fans and know only two things.
1. Every pass thrown by the opposition is forward and
2. The opposition is always offside.

Hey guys did you know that the Warriors saved their worst half of footy until this game and that us at Fox Sports really really want the Sharks to go through?

If he retreats back behind where the ball is played then he is ok to go on with the play.

mixed emotions for Rudolph.

He likely won't be playing the finals, but he did manage to dodge coming to this wretched club
