Yeah 12 - 3 set restarts screams shat on ay

Some big and bad calls went against us, you blokes shouldn't have had Tariq in the bin but the restarts after that were legit cos you had to be slower so no shame in that...we were hurt by the refs but it added points to the result, it didn't change it IMO.

That early assault on us in the middle won you the game. Happy to see Dan Alvaro playing well, he's a very solid player and will do well for your mob.

Still we were far from awful, we didn't take advantage of a couple of good chances on the edges. I'm not at all cut up to be beaten by a better side on the day early in the year and learn a bit, plenty of rounds to go. Matto will be a big in for those edge plays

I think the 12-3 was warranted, Saints game plan was to defend hard and slow us down and it worked, they played well. Reffing has been fine.
