It lacks respect, foresight, care for fans, does the members a great disservice, it’s not even economically viable, it sends a chilling message to other players that loyalty means nothing. No more players tolerating unders. Souths becomes a transition instead of a destination club ( like us).

And it saddens me that a lot of your club celebs are in hiding. People are in fear and won’t stand on their feet.

They need to sit down and listen to your anthem and take stock. Feel the words.

It might be up to George again. He shouldn’t have to reach out especially at the moment, but the club calls him and all die hards to muster. Your finest hour.

Poor old Stalin loves domination so it makes sense that he would try to worm his way into the forum of the club who have dominated his mob for their entire existence. As for the recent Gummy interlopers, they turned up hoping to gloat when they thought they had nabbed Reyno. However if Mixo is right, the joke is well and truly on them and they will soon be slinking off with the sound of all of us laughing at them ringing in their ears.

Awesome mentality. Out with the old and in with the new. We have a bunch of quality players to make Taafe's transition not as difficult as it would be at other clubs.

Ive said it in past posts,im gona say it again, i dont feel our front office performs, the fact we have offered bennet a director type role exhibits the fact we are 1 sharp shooter administrator, a recruit/ negotiator/ cap controler short. We miss richo!
Solly has always struck me as a admin contrller, he may have some cap awareness, but has no feeling no heart. Elo is great as team manager but again not good enough for the top job.
Also our recruitment, and i mean identifying youngsters, not in our system,a recruiter, finding, poaching, from other clubs lower grades. We lack big wingers, eg fijian or NZ, props, etc here we are recruiting crocks who come with injurys,cartwright, moga, etc we need to get better.

I feel your pain fellow bunnies hard to watch that , some of them had a go out there but against that team you need the top 17 fit n firing even then it’s only a chance they are the benchmark still I say better this year with grant unbelievable
Anyway that’s our low for the season a couple more weeks of pain and we get troups back we just need to limit the points over next 2-3 games for n against will kill us .......that was pretty shit but fellas

Dont be sorry,your 100% right, ive said before marsters isnt up to it, now ill say cartwright isnt either, burns hasnt played for 300 days and is expected to cope? Our defence on the edges is miserable,until thats fixed we got no chance,watch the next 4 games

As I said in the other thread, I told you guys at the beginning of the year we are short on backs, and that was before we signed Mansour. We could have got JAC, he was desperate to come to Souths. Just about every back outside of the normal starting line up is not up to first grade standard.

And we've made crazy signings and now we won't be able to keep any of the guys we should be keeping. Cartwright 3 years - madness, Knight 4 years - madness, Marsters will be gone, Milne always injured why did we sign him? Moga a moron, even Tatola for 3 years was risky, should have signed him for 2. At least Sua will save us money when we let him go, unless more madness takes place.

George Jennings, who was one year, our top try scorer, looks like an immortal compared to our garbage backup backs.

We've made some big mistakes in recruitment, and its starting to cost us now. Jennings couldn't even get minimum wage, but then we get Ethan Lowe instead. Burns always injured so we put Lowe in the centres, and he is woefully outgunned, so then we get James Roberts, who has always been a suspect defender, and eventually has to be dropped because his D is so bad, so we put Douehi in there for a while, but then he is let go, then we put Cartwright out there, and then someone thinks he can actually play centre so we sign him for 3 more years.

The days of putting edge fowards as centres is over, has been for 5 years at least. Centres gotta be FAST, have steeping footwork, ball handling/passing skills.

When Gagai leaves we better have something up our sleeves in recruitment, because we gonna really regress.
