Ive just gone through the rep sides for city country, the teams are on our web site, im flabergasted, in all the teams there we have 1 player named, we are a club in disarray, were is the development with the younger players, were is that team that won the grand final, were are the halves set to take over AR position?
If they are so great why arent they in? You know we didnt even have a reserves coach until 3 weeks before the comp started no wonder we are near the bottom of the table, hey we won 1 game last week, our first, what depth are we talking about?
I see a club in disarray and no organisation, no development for juniors.
My mail is there is no hope of the club changing its stance on AR, and offering a 2nd year, the cap has been butchered, its a mess, there isnt any money, and if they did about face they would need to shift more players. We dont have any million dollar player, GI and sam are gone, so were, who has the money?
Who has stuffed up the cap so we cant afford to buy any good players but injured crocks? And we cant keep our captain.
The other bit of info i have been whispered to is AR wants to go to the broncos, his plan was after football to retire in Qld so this actually falls to his advantage, the broncos have refused his 4th year, but he will accept it and bon voyage, this has been butchered and stuffed from the beginning, our lack of a chief executive to control cap and recruitment has hurt us.

Hmmm, someone on the Sharks forum has just posted that the Sharks have withdrawn their offer to Reyno. If true then it looks like he is either going to Brisbane or staying with us.

I was told reynolds wants to go to the broncos, he wanted to retire there and this is just what he is looking for. The broncos have their problems, but they have a very talented team and only need 2 or 3 players to rejuvinate them, reynolds knows this, you waite and see, if he goes they will blossom into a top 4 team

The HM side was second last out of 15 teams. Who from that side is U16 and deserving of a spot in the U16 City side?

It is disappointing that Davvy Moale was the sole representation for the U18 City side, but the only real representation for junior state of origin is now U19. A quick look at the SG Ball squad and 17 players or so will back up in 2022.

The two young halfs that you speak of are Blake Taafe (currently injured) and Lachlan Ilias. Ilias is still developing by playing Jersey Flegg and has only played one NSW Cup game this year. Both players are behind Hawkins and Dargan in the queue.

Taafe i consider to be our top prospect ,i know he was injured he is back this round, it just seems we have digressed with our juniors, and our knock on cup side has done nothing, our recruitment is non existent i feel

NRL's saddest snub must end after humiliation: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/mole-h...-scoring/f4c2dfb2-ed49-4237-b4fe-cf5506f5c292

God it pisses me off when the media say shit like this! Reyno would not have made one ounce of difference last Thursday night. For god sake!

Wayne Bennett hits out as Adam Reynolds-Cody Walker rumours turn ugly: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/south-...contract/e997b3a7-d7a6-4a2d-944b-da9bb0f595b6

For god sake once again!! Weidler making up more BS!! No substance beind that story, it's all just guess work and assumptions. Cookie literally said in his media interview today that the backs had a meeting at that time so Cody was not able to make it. Piss off Weidler and stop making shit up about our club to try and bring us down. Good on Wayne for speaking out.

He wants to retire there ? Like I'm old and grey and go to bed at 7pm retire there. Or when he retires from footy ?

I can't see him moving up when he's retired from footy, he's going to up root his whole family with kids in high school/primary school ? Nah can't see it.

When he's old and grey yeah sure.

Bennett bombshell as coach drops news on Reynolds’ NRL future: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...l/news-story/3347ed7533c71e7eacd22f04d729af6c

Hooper - Sharks turn up heat on Broncos in $2.45m bidding war for Reynolds: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...s/news-story/ead4ad9c006d9fd2ea697f43b7d30062

It appears that Mad Bunny was sadly wrong, Reyno is as good as gone. It also appears that Mad Bunny has deactivated his account, hope all is okay with him.

From Sporting News,

Rabbitohs players want Adam Reynolds to stay at Redfern

Damien Cook and Tom Burgess say the South Sydney playing group want Adam Reynolds to remain at the club as the star halfback's contract negotiations drag into a third month.

Reynolds is as good as gone from Redfern at the end of the season, with the Sharks or Broncos the most likely teams in the hunt for his signature.

The local junior wanted to remain at the club he guided to premiership glory in 2014, and the Bunnies were unwilling to commit to more than a one-year contract.

While Rabbitohs management have moved on, the playing group still want Reynolds at the club.

“The club is looking after their interests and obviously Reyno is as well. I’m sure they’ll come to a decision,” Burgess said on Monday.

“It would be good to keep him. I’m not gonna lie, I’d love to keep him here.”

South Sydney were smashed 50-0 by Melbourne in Reynolds’ absence on Thursday, with Burgess joking the scoreline did no harm to Reynolds’ negotiating position.

“There’s a little bit of a joke that Reynolds’ stock price went up this weekend,” Burgess said.

“He’s a big part of our team and it showed on the weekend.”

Cook went even further, revealing he'd spoken to Reynolds during his contract dispute.

“I have had a chat and I’ve asked him to stay,” Cook said.

“It’s a big reason I came to the club – because he was the halfback.

“There was Sam (Burgess), Greg (Inglis) and (John Sutton) too, but Reyno was the one that stood out for me. I hope he stays. It’s a cruel part of our game.”

Cook said Reynolds, who has a thumb injury, was missed against Melbourne, but questioned whether the result would have been much different if he'd played.

“Having Reyno out there would’ve been nice as well. But Dean did a great job as well,” he said.

“We didn’t do our job. No matter what halves were out there, we just made too many errors.

“We didn’t give our backs a chance to get into the game."

I admired his passion but I don't respect deactivating your account. If he had come back and said "Ï was wrong" and took his licks, I think most on here could have respected that.Who knows, he may come back (possibly with a different username) but he should remember that we're one big family here and just like in other families you can have disagreements but at the end of the day we're all united in our desire for whats best for the mighty South Sydney FC.

Maybe Bennett is trying to bring about a closure on it as he might be seeing it's affecting the team and individual players performances perhaps.

Reynolds should just make a decision and get on with it.

See Marshall, you can contribute sensible, reasoned opinions when you choose to. Unfortunately you tend to choose to post a bunch of nonsensical crap most of the time. Hell, I'll even give your post a Like!
