The sides are listed in numerical order.Poms to get the chocolates here. Dom Young on the bench is a head-scratcher though

Don’t you mean the 6 Australians in cosplay? He basically said everyone made that team but the 6 Samoans
That’s a bloody strange way of going about things.Listed from squad numbers in numerical order. So Young & Tabuai-Fidow will play wing by the looks.

It’s confusing enough that they’re not using a normal numbering system, but surely they could name their teams in order of position.
Yeah. Me too.Looks like they are doing it the Super League way, squad numbers set for the tournament, squads of 19 announced 2 days before the game in squad number or alphabetical order. I much prefer the NRL system but maybe that’s just what I’m used to.
Yeah. Me too.
I can’t really see the logic behind it. Surely it would be good to simplify things for the casual international fan that might be attracted to the World Cup. I mean, I’ve grown up surrounded by RL and I’m a bit confused. Imagine what it’s like for the poor buggers in Greece or Italy trying to work it out.
Edit* - Any knowledgeable SL fans out there understand the reasoning?
The Tournament NEEDS an English win. They will be the only NH nation in the semis..
PENRITH!Want Samoa to win but can’t see other than an English win
best case scenario Samoa keep it close worst case the poms click and do some real damage
Samoas record is poor and the rumours are they don’t like the coach
maybe the Penrith connection can change things
