I had that opinion about Penrith in regards to 2021 before the 2020 finals even started.

You are probably right in regards to changes on the 8 it is just difficult to predict some of those bottom 8 teams to rise at this stage.
panthers some tipped bottom 8 this year 2020

Panthers to drop out of the Top 4.

Sharks to miss the finals.

Bulldogs, Titans and Dragons to improve.

Broncos to continue thier great form.

Roosters, Storm and Raiders to do what they do.

Gus reckons they are still going better, they should hit the lead on the scoreboard by new years.
Another few minutes in the first QF in the Roosters V Panthers game and Roosters probably win that, same can be said for another few minutes for the Panthers V Storm GF.

nothing has changed for me from predictions back in November

Penrith
Storm
Raiders
Roosters

above the top 4 & in no particular order

Souths
Parramatta
Titans
Bulldogs

bottom 4 & I think that'll be sort of the order.

Manly
Knights
Cowboys
Warriors
Sharks
Tigers
Broncos
Dragons

that will be the bottom 8.... order not in stone.

Top 8 not necessarily in order

Panthers
Storm
Rabbitohs
Raiders
Roosters
Dragons
Titans
Eels

Best of the Rest
Sharks

I think we might not go quite as well as last year with the forwards not having quite the authority and maybe not such a blessed run with injuries. Fisher-Harris and Yeo are critical to this side. Rabbitohs the big danger. Roosters look likely to head south, a lot of stars getting to the back end of their careers and not a top 4 spine, Teddy notwithstanding. Dragons the smokey with Hook having history of improving teams that are good on paper but not on the field. He'll have them fit and having a go. Titans finished strongly last year but that means nothing. Hopefully their recruits will take them the next step. I have serious doubts about Parra but there seems no-one better at this stage. If not them the Sharks might sneak in again. They have a habit of doing better than expected.
