Spain and France look the teams to beat so far. England impressive although they conceded some pretty ordinary goals against a pretty ordinary side. Still, it’s only the group stage, the cream really rises during the knock outs.

that said, it’s depressing seeing how much better than us Japan are now, considering it wasn’t long ago we were pretty comparable to them. Will be impressed if they can sneak out of their group considering it’s difficulty.
