You guys have a stack of property, It goes under the radar how rich the Raiders are

That is true. I think QLC own a fair few leagues clubs. Our future has always been pretty secure even if we have pretty crap on the field for the last 20 odd years (generally)

We’ve always had money to be fair. Out of all the regional sides we are the most financially secure.
These figures are staggering tbh

so much for the working man’s game

we’ve surpassed that long ago

league is probably the wealthiest Australian sporting code

So the Panthers sports side made six million profit which is taken into account in the larger club’s operation’s profit of 14 million. Am I reading this right?

Location is the biggest factor in poor performance on field, Off field there wouldn't be too many businesses who turn over $92m in Canberra

NRL revenue sources for 2022. Licensing includes: Media revenue, digital revenue, licensing, betting revenue, merchandise sales. Contra was $24mill in the media deal last year.

Clubs who don’t make a profit with the amount of money they get over the salary cap should be booted

it’s basically impossible not to make a profit given the current funding model for clubs

before vlandys clubs collectively lost around 30 to 40 million. This has turned around by around 60 million across all clubs

There should be no reason for them not to be. It'll be interesting to see if we get more interest from investment groups in club ownership now they are turning a profit.

clubs revenue streams we have so far. Some dont split in detail from LC revenue and Storm not at all hardly. I wonder why Raiders got $1mill less in NRL grant?

Cannon brooks purchase into south’s valued them at 80 million

broncos market cap is 110 million pa

I read somewhere penn was really happy as the value of manly is now worth more than the 20 million he was offered

it’s also made expansion to Perth way easier

If Panthers don’t get Titans’d with the tenancy deal for the new stadium, we’re gonna be making big boy bucks.

Let's see how team 17 goes first before thinking of 18+ teams.......

After watching the Dolphins trial last week (and acknowledging it was a trial) I am yet to be convinced we have enough quality players to be expanding team numbers quickly.
If anything, after watching nearly all of the trial matches and with the teams fielding their second and third string sides I was struck by how many good young players there are out there.

That argument is rubbish. Put players in top league & most will make it
