6-8 weeks apparently….so worst case scenario, ponga does his knee round 1 and we only have to deal with Hoy for 3 or so weeks

Unless they change the rules again, I don't think we can see Hoy in the side until Round 8 or 10 or something.

If something happens to Ponga next 6-8 wks then Mann will be our f/b unless Hoy or Baker are moved to our top 30

These Saifiti boys are always having leg issues. I thought Knowles was meant to fix this!

Hopefully he can recover as quick as they’re saying.

Apparently a tibiai plateau for DSaf although that's not mentioned here.
I fractured mine and it was way more than a month. I still have the effects.
Don’t know your lifestyle or circumstances but I am sure that a athlete/footballer has more than average medical services and recuperation assistance than say the average joe bloke, medical repatriation is No1 priority so they can get them back on the paddock post haste.
Hope you overcome your injury

Lachlan Fitzgibbon (ankle) - Should be right this week
Daniel Saifiti (knee) - Chance this week, more likely round 3
Brodie Jones (leg) - Round 3
Hymel Hunt (knee) - Round 4
Sauaso Sue (shoulder) - Round 4ish (thinks Sue will kill him if he says any longer than that)
Jack Johns (shoulder) - Round 7-8
Jayden Brailey (achilles) - June
Bailey Hodgson (elbow) - June

June doesn't sound all that bad.

If the medical staff is happy with what they see then he should play, even if it's easing him back in with reduced minutes off the bench. Need to be banking wins against "easier" teams, especially at home. This week is just as important as next.

Knowles conditioning is certainly top
notch. I thought we weren’t
Going to see D Saf for a month or two. I thought Brailey was done for the year.

AOB in the post game conference said over half a dozen players were under an injury cloud and didn't train all week - including captain's run.

Ponga, Dsaf & Klemmer will all be aiming to return this week.

Fitzgibbon will need scans on his knee but they seem confident it's an MCL issue rather than ACL.

Not good if having Fitz out means Barnett is back out wide- he’s so much better suited to playing in the middle.
