Connor Watson has looked lost in a top level roosters team, you really think hes an honest chance of making Origin for NSW with guys like Hynes and Papi ?

And Teddy in NSW captain and only 29. Zero chance 2022 is his last year unless he get injured

Watson is a genuine utility. Bird is too but too good a player to be the 14 in a struggling club side. Papenhuysen is a fullback only and Hynes is a fullback/half. I wouldn't bring either of them on to cover a middle forward in Origin, especially Pap with his concussion issues. Freddy hasn't been fussed on genuine utilities in the past so Hynes might get the gig. The side I posted is who I would pick.

Tedesco has slowed down alarmingly. Still a smart footballer and can run into a gap and support a break but not beating anyone with his speed and step any more, and certainly not the best fullback available even now. Being the captain means he survives this year, but not forever.
