The rain has sadly not let up. If anything it's just gotten worse. It's gonna be a wet and dirty weekend, and not the good kind.

Is Gus coaching the team this week?

No. But Barretts game plan of one up forward runs will suit the conditions. I see Burtons bombs at the end of sets working in our favour, and I'm not sure Ponga's heart will be in it with the conditions like they are.

I'm in Brisbane and it's absolutely canning down at the moment.

Josh Jackson's dream weather, brings everyone's skills closer to his level.

Lot's of interesting matchups:
TPJ v Barnett for who is the league's dumbest player.
Dufty v Ponga for most acrobatic missed tackle without actually trying to attempt a tackle

First 2 mins living up to what I expected:

* Ponga wants nothing to do with a bomb and concedes a drop out

* Dogs use Josh Jackson on a second man play who can’t finish a 2 on 1

* Dogs put up a bomb and hope which everyone misses and lands on Dominic Young’s head
