Has the makings of a good ole fashioned fade this one. I'd expect our middles to win the opening stint but an impractical bench will leave us gassed in the last 20.

This is a statement game for us. This is the one where we flex our gooches and show the other sides whose boss.

Penrith fans start quaking with fear, the giant is about to rise from the ashes of its subterranean home and wreak havoc on everything that moves, first stop St George Illawarra Steel Dragons.

Statement game.

Match will be played underwater. Makes kicking pretty important.

Ben Hunt is the best kicker in the match. No idea how Dragons 5/8 goes with the boot.

Jack has a massive boot but is not known for finesse with it. If he has a good day Raiders might match Hunt.

The Fog has shown a nice short kicking game as he's come back from injury, which is promising- since he's shown sweet FA else.

It's been non-stop throwing it down in Wollongong to the point that we have had a months rain in the past day.

Hope see a few things today. 1) a try scored where the player dives from 20m out and slides to the tryline, 2) a towering bomb that just lands in a huge puddle and doesn't bounce, 3) Dragons win and 4) Ricky to provide another 30mm of rain from a whinging and teary presser.

How will Ricky attribute the result to "the bounce of the ball" tonight when it's too soggy to bounce?
