That’s disgraceful defence. When Walsh kicked it almost the entire team were content to just not chase at all.

They do target them in high school, but the standard of rl in NZ is so poor that they are encouraged to continue playing first xv rugby as it's a more intense comp.

The end result is union players with no league experience and understanding or league players who quite frankly - are shit.

We'll see what happens next year if the Warriors can get a NSW Cup and Flegg team up and running, but no junior pathways means they have zero chance of competing in the comp.
It’s such a shame the pathway isn’t there,
NZ have so much potential but as you have said, no good pathways to nurture the talent

Gotta put that down to your spine. SJ is done and refuses to accept it, Harris Tevita is pretty average and Walsh is flying solo and lets be honest, has already checked out of the joint mentally.

You guys def have some rebuilding years ahead of you, but every cloud has a silver lining. At least you're rid of Brown.

I dunno. The weakest part of our squad is centres, wingers and edge backrowers. The spine has no-one to pass the ball to.

Warriors are a joke and a threat to no one due to lack of effort. Team culture just never improves.

I reckon they give up trying to play conventional and just go ridiculous offloads and high risk plays. probably still get flogged but at least give their opponents something to be worried about

curran and Tohu can both be excellent edge backrowers. Would have been nice if they could have seen the talent in papalili

Papa was complacent here, he's said so himself. Needed to get out of his comfort zone to grow.

Unfortunate, but that happens sometimes.

What happened to Eli Katoa? He looked the goods for a bit
I think he’s been harshly treated but I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority. He’s a bit of extra size on the edges for us and a point of difference. Lots of errors in his game (he actually tries to offload).
