Was it drinkwater saying he looked at the touchy, and the touchy agreed with him that he should challenge? If not him, someone in the team getting advice from the nrl officials. What a disgrace for an alleged professional competition

should challenge or could challenge? Big difference

Why are we not even discussing how the Cowboys could basically lose against the Tigers at home.

Just rewatched it. If thats an escort, then theres 50 of them in an average game. It shouldn't have been a penalty. Common sense should have been applied.

This will hurt the cows in the long run though. They will get 50/50 calls going against them now to make up for it. Its the NRL's way.

Sorry to hear this. From the 1970's, the Panthers were absolute shit with no sign of change on the horizon. And having the kind of club management whose only thought was of their job security didn't help. From 1969 right through to 1985, when we first made the finals, we came acclimatised to having a rubbish team.

But the one thing we all did was we stayed strong as supporters. Nobody from the club was giving us hope, feedback or any sign that things would get better. We were the whipping boys of the comp for 23 years until we won our 1st comp.

So when you are feeling the way you are right now, go through some old Tigers matches, and old Tigers memorabilia, and remind yourself why your a Tigers fan. I'm sure you'll get your mojo back again. :)
Another decade of this is not something a club can sustain in the current business environment.

Comparing the chronic failures of today to those of 50 years ago simply underlines the fact that prolonged failure in the current competition will result in a club being replaced.

As a neutral it was disgraceful, and smacked of pure incompetence, it made my stomach turn. That is the first time in 45+ years of watching the game, I have thought that’s it I am done with this game.

So am I dumb, as well? Or do I just have a different view to you?

Yeah he milked it, 100%. But that doesn't negate the fact that the Tigers player may have changed his line and got in Feldt's road, which gives the chance there's going to be a penalty.

I don't know the ruling in regards to the ref calling play on at the time and whether it couldn't be ruled on by the Bunker.
May have changed his line never warrants a penalty. The player does change his line does warrant a penalty. You’re doing a pretty good job of answering your own question. Sit down.

Have a bad night's sleep there, Johnsy? That's an awfully aggressive post. And quite funny too, because I'd wager 99% of people here post sitting down, including me.

I didn't need my question answered, I'm well aware I have a different view.

Kinda sad that what was a pretty damn good game of footy will be remembered only for an Ashley Klein f**king bellringer of a bullshit call
Was it Klein’s fault? It looked like the bunker got in his ear and told him to allow the Captains Challenge. Klein just didn’t have the balls to say that it can’t be challenged as there was no stoppage in play.

I said the same thing pretty much to my best mate after the game.
I said "You know how everyone in Sydney hates the Broncos but loves the Cowboys? That love is now finished."
😂
😂

I wasn’t aware we were anyone’s second team

By this logic the tigers will now see a surge in support

It’s almost like the refs don’t understand the rules....,

Butler was the onfield referee and Klein was in the bunker.

Not sure what I’m enjoying more - salty NSW fans or salty Broncos fans.

To Wests, you were great yesterday and the coach handled the situation very well. Tamou is a legend, 300 games for a front rower is a great achievement and he will always have a special place with us.

The situation was handled poorly, but Feldt was escorted no question. When you’ve copped the shit we have over the years since 2004, you don’t feel guilty about one coming your way.
