Rex Mossop is turning in his grave as we speak. For me it's a wank. Social pandering at it's worse. For credibility, manly should've done this when Roberts came out, as it is it's just a case of woke grandstanding which I can't stand, no sincerity here.
I should not assume your sexuality, but you are presenting yourself as quite the hetero mong.

What is it about homosexuality that scares you so much?

Sincerity might not matter to you because it clearly doesn't impact you or anyone you care about. For the community that this supports, it is a pretty big deal.

Another stupid statement. One of my brothers is gay but he doesn't shove his sexual preferences down everyone's throats.
The big trouble with the world today is this pathetic assumption that everyone must agree with the status quo and if they don't then they must be homophobic or whatever buzzword you want to throw in there. If any Manly players sit out I'll applaud them for their bravery and self respect. This rubbish reminds me of when the premier league players were all shamed to take a knee for another BS cause.

These players are happy to promote gambling as per the teams naming rights sponsor.

These players are happy to promote alcohol as per the naming rights sponsor of the ground they play at.

They're happy to get shitty tatts and work (play) on the Sabbath.

But wearing a pride jumper is a bridge too far for these mental lightweights.

I feel sorry for the players and fans that have to play and put up with these religious nutters that pick and choose which parts of a stupid 2000 year old book inspired by an imaginary character.

Cockburn, no one is shoving this down anyone's throat. It is literally a few centimetres of rainbow trim on a jersey. You are pressed like a panini for no reason.

You don't need to agree with it, but you also don't need to say wild irrelevant shit that just outs you as a gronk. Everyone is welcome to their opinion, just like everyone is welcome to make a fool of themselves. Go off sis!

I'll say what the f**k I want to say and I'm not going to be shamed by anyone for having an opinion. One other thing I'm as anti religious as anyone on the planet so your religious angle doesn't cut it.

So you think you have the right to say whatever you want, and shove your opinion down others throats (and you’re right) BUT you criticise anyone else doing the same if their opinion is different to yours.

How is your behaviour any different to those you criticise?

If you take it that way then you're even more stupid than I previously thought. Frankly I couldn't give a f**kc what you think.

Team to get flogged by Roosters assuming the Covid 3 are back.

1. Garrick
2. Weekes
3. Harper
4. Walker
5. Ray Vaega (unless he stands down too)
6. Foran
7. DCE
8. Paseka
9. Croker
10. Keppie
11. Davey
12. Bullemor
13. Trbojevic

14. Segeyaro
15. Taupau
16. Kurt De Luis
17. Gordon Chan Kum Tong

If 9, 11, 13 aren’t back we literally have no fit players left and no more development player spots

Mate, I don’t think anti religious people would be supporting their stance. Doesn’t make sense in that respect. I think you’d be alone there, bud

Because they play for a club in the NRL. There are rules around playing in the NRL, one of which is you must wear the jersey of your club.

This is an official Manly jersey. Do the rules not apply to them?
They didn't even ask the players opinions on the matter. Hey go democracy, yay.

I mentioned in the jersey forum that this jersey would have been f**king everything to me while grappling with my sexuality as a teen in country QLD. Sport was my escapism - it always was - and to have that silent support would have been huge. These boys wishing to boycott it is exactly why the jersey is needed.

Manly fans have a lot to be proud of here.
A f**king men.

You do realise that in most of the world minorities like those being supported by this guernsey are still fighting for their basic human rights? Even in Australia we still don’t treat gay people equally with everyone else.

Stop listening to conservative mouthpieces spouting dumbass slogans like ‘woke’ and ‘social pandering’.

If you hadn’t already made it clear how much of a dickhead you are you just had to drop the ‘I’m not racist I have a black friend!’. f**king Christ.

Also calling homophobia a buzzword? f**king get out of that bubble you privileged piece of shit.

How else should I take it? That’s exactly what you’re doing. You don’t like it so you dismiss it as “woke grandstanding”.

Why is acknowledging that the LGBTQI+ community exists woke? Why do you keep shoving your heterosexuality down everyone’s throats?
