Having heard the explanation by Annesley, they used discretion there

Let's be serious here for a moment, Okunbur wasn't getting Farnworth, no matter whether or not the obstruction occurred, he's got to be one of the slowest wingers in the comp. Not only that, they had near on 60% of the ball, 26 more tackles in our 20, we had to make 100 more tackles than them, 6-3 lopsided count, it goes on and on.. we didn't win because of 1 call

Not only that, Kotoni bombed one that you'd expect him to be able to put down, we were entitled to win by more

In fact, we were the ones that were robbed

BRONCOS

f**k your discretion. Annensely is just covering the refs arse. It was outside shoulder and Burns was impeded which meant every other Bulldog on the edge had to hold their position. According to the rule, it’s obstruction every day of the week!

the rest of your argument is like saying if the Tigers cut out their errors vs Newcastle, then they would’ve won.

Certainties for tonight:

1. Liam Knight will drop it in the play-the-ball
2. The Roosters will drop it the set after scoring a try
3. Victory Radley will concede a penalty and then whinge to the ref
4. Cody Walker will push someone in the back with an angry face
5. JWH will go MIA
6. Andrew Johns will say at some point "well what was he supposed to do?"
7. The FOX commentators will yell at us for 2 hours

The media beat up about this “grudge match” is getting a bit nauseating.

I mean, we’re not gonna see a fight. More likely a cheap shot that gets someone Jayden Sua’d. Then a bit of a hugfest while Walker looks like he’s gonna cry, Latrell gets his angry face, and JWH looks disappointed in them.

It's hard to read this game.

Roosters looked good in the first half last week, but Manly has hardly been convincing this season. Souths have had a couple of close losses, but against Melbourne hasn't looked great and Brisbane struggled against the Bulldogs.

This could be the game that really kicks off the season for whoever wins. It'll be interesting to see how motivated teams are. The build up following the Latrell hit last season has been pretty big, but a lot of time that fizzles when kick off starts.

Either way, it will be intriguing to watch.

If Souffs can't shake off their funk for the Roosters they're in trouble. Slightly favouring them but the Roosters could blow them off the park in the first half, as they love to do.
