The fact a majority here tipped the Dogs and that even people paid to give their opinions in the media all week also backed them shows how there is a ridiculous anti Souths bias. We are a top 4 team. We lose a few because we got an insanely difficult draw to begin with. But we are a good team that is easily putting away the ordinary teams when we actually get a shot a them.

If we had the Dragons and Dogs first up we would have been able to use these games to gel together and we would have won at least one of the Storm and Panthers if not both. But we had the tough games first as a brand new restructured team. That made us look worse than we are.

We will be there deep in September and the haters can stay mad.

I don't think the easy time you've had from Sutton in this game will help matters a great deal.

This is more painful than watching any Bruce Willis movie from the last five years.

A true legend at the nadir of his powers 😭

Strangely, I can see the potential in this Dogs side. You can see they need to include around 3 or 4 good players and they'll get there. Having players like Naden fluffing 3 tries, and poorly in position to stop another was the difference as well as the 10 minute sin bin.

It was always going to be a trying year, and a learning curve it will be for this season.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda, DIDN'T.
Massively flattered in this game by favourable refereeing and a rubbish sin binning. Take that out and you scored the same number of tries as the Dogs.

Souths are middle of the road at best, and that's where they deserve to be.

Most sensible folks in this situation wouldn't buy in, hey?

Mate, the "I'm not racist because my [X] is [X]" line is some genuinely funny shit that usually only gets a run as an ironic joke these days.

Independent of the argument going on seeing it used unironically is truly hilarious.

So you're saying that a side that recruited 3 top quality players for this year, only need to recruit another 4 quality players for next year to get better?
Why didn't teams think of this before now?
