This has got to be the dodgiest world cup sport on the planet.
I cannot and will not watch this amateur competition.
It is an embarrassment to the players and the code.
There is no world cup in rugby league, thats a fact.
The only nations that truly play it are Australia,NZ,Eng , France and a handful of Pacific nations.
You want to see a real world cup? watch the soccer(football) world cup at the end of the year.
Waste of time, money and a piss up for the players .

We’ll skip it’s not about the competition with the minnow nations it’s about promoting the game in there country by putting the game on a bigger stage do you think any country other than Brazil Spain Italy Germany or maybe the French will win the soccer World Cup because like the league World Cup they have a heap of sides just making up the numbers and who begrudges the players having piss up stick in the mud

Finally caught up on all the World Cup stuff from the weekend. Watched a few games I wanted to see but missed. Glad my Kiwis got the win but I have to say, that was a terrible game to watch. Just errors everywhere. Otherwise, it's good to see a lot of our Bunnies playing well. Really looking forward to the Quarters as the comp will finally heat up!
